Founder and executive director. Ola has passion for social inclusion and is a strong beliver that all children can thrive if supported well. She is a teacher in a special school, autism researcher and a parent of an autistic boy. Caleidoscope was created after she was inspired by her son's different perception of the world and because of her passion to support the most needy ones .
She has over 20 years of teaching experience, has MA degree in Education and PG in Autism from University of Strathclyde, is a Mental Health First Aider and trained in Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction, LEGO based therapy, Behaviour that Challenges. She also has qualification in PDA and is trained in SCERTS- Assesment, Planning and Interventions.
Her passion is Mindfullness and Art as a healing tool and she is a trained coach in Therapeutic Art and Mindfulness Practitioner.
She uses her teaching skills and autism knowledge to design courses, training sessions and classes for children to raise awareness of autism, promote inclusion and improve mental wellbeing. She has Enhanced DBS check and is fully insured. Ola was a nominee and a winner of an Award in Promoting Progression in Lambeth in 2018/2019.
