What is Explore through Senses?

Explore through Senses is a programme for young children- pre-schoolers- who struggle with concentration, attention and social interaction. It is based on Attention Autism approach and Sensory Integration.

Who is it for?

  • Pre-schoolers who are diagnosed with autism or awaiting assessment
  • Young children who struggle with concentration and attention
  • Young children who struggle with communication
  • Families who feel unsupported and need advice
  • Children up to the age of 5

Structure of the session:

  • Welcome 
  • Following government guidance on Covid 19- hand sanitizer, Covid -19 declaration
  • Exploring through senses- children have access to sensory room and other sensory resources while parents have an opportunity to speak to autism practitioner or/and other professionals including an OT. During that period children may be observed to ensure the right strategies to support are in place

Every session will have the same structure to help children settle down and feel comfortable and avoid unnecessary stress 

Explore through Senses

START: November

DAY: Monday

TIME: 10-12 :30 am

VENUE: every Monday different venue

9th November - Mole Valley Family Centre

14th December- Mole Valley Family Centre

COST: £5 per session 

Only 8 places available for each session!
